Description
The unit consists of a rectangular transparent-lid head, made of glass fiber-filled polycarbonate, and a stainless steel stem along which slides a float designed to withstand high pressures and chemicals.
The sheath contains a magnetic circuit inside that, when closed by the passage of a magnet placed in the float, enables a precise reading of the tank level. The level information can be read at any time via a display screen installed on the head. Attachment to the tank is by means of a JR flange or an 8-inch plate. The electronics necessary for signal processing are located in the head, providing the following information:
- VISUAL: By means of a liquid crystal display that indicates the tank level as a percentage.
- ELECTRICAL: By means of a 4 to 20 milliampere current signal that will.
- TELEMETRY: By means of an external Cabeco telemetry kit or telemetry integrated into the CND3000TG variant, information on the tank fill percentage can be captured and sent as a text message via SMS or to the Internet (GPRS).
